Maharashtra 'Chitrarath' to showcase Chhatrapati Shivaji on Jan 26

Delhiites will get a chance to see Maharashtra's  legendary Kind, Chhatrapati Shivaji yet again with the State government its tableu to the 'Jaanata Raja' durinbg the Republic Day parade tis year.

Designed by team of artists led by retired professor of famed JJ School of Art, Mumbai, the tableu will have 40 artists participting, depiciting scenes from the Shivshahi era.Noted artist, director Nitin Desai is behind the design of the tableu which will have artists playing Shivaji, Jeejabai.

It wasw in October this year that Delhiites had enjoyed a ten day exhibition on the life and times of Shivaji Maharaj at Twin Art Gallery of the Indira Gandhi National Centre for Art (IGNCA).

Delhiites meanwhile are also awaiting staging of the mega show 'Jaanta Raja' which will be staged at the historic Red Fort in April.
