Become employer, not employee says Gadkari

Maharashtrians should give up the tendancy to look after jobs on completion of education and encourage children to become entrepreneurs not looking for employment but becoming an employer said Minister for Transport aned shipping Nitin Gadkari at a function organised by Maharashtra Development and Promotion Centre (MdP Centre)at Teen Murti Bhavan.

"I did not listen to my family who were suggesting I look for a good job after I completed my studies", Gadkari told a packed gathering of Marathis in Delhi. "We discourage enterprise. We worry about future. Maharashtrians are capable and proven so world over. There after successful Marathi youth in the Silicon vally in the US. Marathi youth are making their mark in all fields", Gadkari said. We need to encourage the sprit of enterprise among the Maharashtriansk.

"I have no hesitation to say that I am proud to be a Marathi. I will develop my district, my region, my state and my country" he said.

Gadkari paid rich compliments to Prof. Manish Dabhade of the MDP Centre and assured him al help from ministers, members of Parliament from Maharashtra on his mission to bring Marathi population in the national capital on a common platform.

Minister of Heavy Industries Anant Gite, Hussain Dalwai, former member of Planning Commission Dr.Narendra Jadhav were also present.

Highlight of the evening was screening of Marathi movie 'Jaijaikar' directed by Shantanu Rode, The director who was present was happy that the Marathi people of Delhi appreciated the movie.
