Marathi families in Delhi have adopted WhatsAp and the like to communicate, organise and participate in festivities, get-togethers. Besides the 'Bhishi' parties, WhatsAp groups have emerged and programmes ranging from book (Marathi) reading to even campaigns for separate state of Vidarbha.
Vanita Samaj, one of the oldest Marathi womens organisation organised a 'Mangalagauri' programme for members at the Samaj's hall on Lodhi Road.
